LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this post Shauna! I HATE when I see someone that is just too lazy using a spot that I or someone else, that actually needs the space, could use. I didn't get one for a long time because, like you, I thought that we didn't need it...after all, I CAN walk. But, I have come to realize that it makes my life easier and I, like you, deserve a little bit of "easy" in my life. So, whip out that permit and give the stink eye because people should know that they are being rude and inconsiderate. @Julia, I don't have a van (SUV and Truck) and I park in those spaces because my cars are too big for the regular spots, so I apologize in advance...sorry!!!

The other thing that us that have that permit don't always think about is that when it says van on the sign it is meant for a van! The space is wider and allows for a lift to come out and still get the person off the lift without having to lift them off of it. I don't know how many time I see a regular car in those spots!

Awwww! I am so happy. Thank you for the shout out. I'm just so happy Christian is feeling better and you are no longer having to see him in discomfort and having to clean up puke.

Isn't it amazing? No secret, just food! I went rounds for 3 months with Kaiser ~ adjusting formula, water, flow, formula, flow, water. Nope. it was formula, formula, formula. If I could skywrite it, I would. I'm not the type of person to push people, but with that ~ I just want to skywrite!

I'm so happy...now my Momma heart is smiling BIG!

Happy Mother's Day to one of the BEST moms I have ever known in all of my life. You really are truly amazing. You handle yourself so well and I am honestly so impressed by how you handle your whole family, and keep everything and everyone in balance! I hope they spoil you something rotten today : )

I am still awake because besides being nocturnal, I am having "Pie Problems!" Not to be confused with "Meatball Problems" or "Miki Problems", but BIG TIME "Pie Problems" tonight! I am about to throw the shit out da window!

I have to say, these pictures of Christian are adorable! Good call on Mr. Bunny. Wasn't it crazy being in the hospital environment again? So strange. I was so grateful to have a healthy kid who is usually not there : ) Thank goodness for them being that way, right?

My son's hip was also dislocating and we too were faced with the "bone cutting", femur derotational osteotomy surgery. My husband and I decided to get a second and third opinion, which led us to Dr. Nuzzo in NY. It will be 4 years since the SPML/PERC surgery the in June and his hips look great! This surgery doesn't involve any cutting, just needle punctures.

Shauna, you should research about ABR therapy. It's rehabilitation of musculosceletal system and it works. I do it on my daughter and see almost daily how her body changes back to its normal shape.

Ashleigh has been on Clobazam for about 6 mths now and it has finally been the miracle we hoped it would be. She is 32kg and we were on 5mg twice a day as well as Keppra 1000mg twice a day and 300mg epilim twice a day. Just this week we had to increase her clobazam to 7.5mg twice a day. Success.

Hi ~

It's me. I'm confused! But don't have enough time right now to un-confuse myself. I will though. But for now...I want to explain. I guess I relied too much on FB for your posts. I thought I was a follower. How the heck can I NOT be? I am one of your closest followers for Pete's sake. Like a puppy, right? I guess not. I guess I became a lost puppy. Zukerberg would be so happy...he created confusion in my little head ; )

How could I have lost contact with your blog? How could I not be a follower? How could I have just clicked on Safe Haven of all things and saw that Christian, my Christian (if you will) was going into the hospital? How could THEY have told ME? BOO!! I don't know, but I will get to the bottom of this, AND catch up. The follower section of your blog is blank right now? How is that? I do not know. But, I will be back to read, and to catch up, and to comment, and to figure all this out, but for now...I'm sorry I've been MIA.
